Wipe 'em out! All of them.

Do you remember trashing the maps with those scattered showers from the original Gravity Power? I am sure you do, since they were the greatest invention in war machinery of all time since the greek fire. Due to exceptional performance from the almighty Florp we have graciously been delivered these blessings.

Collision detection using alpha blended textures is implemented and will surely be a very interesting feature to use in map making since it can also be used for detecting landing zones and other things. This makes for very easy map making.

The following days will probably be used for cleaning up my ugly code and put those lines where they belong, create a nice default physics configuration and make users able to change it within an XML file.

Oh, there are also some temporary sounds you might want to hear.
Thrust sound
Stop thrusting
Shooting

Tack och hej, leverpastej.

Bullets and minimaps!

I had to drag Flossy from his wordly and superficious thoughts on getting breast implants and save him from Hollywood Hell to implement some new features into the engine. He quickly created the greatest minimap of all times and also gave our ship some firepower.

Nostalgia struck me so I had to re-make the sprite to look like the original beauty. I hope that is okay with Jan and Jens. Next thing to do is per-pixel collision detection and map making which will use alpha blending for detection of different thingies...

Over and out.

There is a new thruster in town

...And it intends to grasp you in it bestial clutches, send you down through the abysmal depths of ogrish bitmusic, dismal TAC-2's and cataclysmic tape stations and corrupt your soul to the point of Guru Meditation.

Work has begun to revive the classic Amiga game Gravity Power, created by evil geniuses Jens Andersson & Jan Kronqvist. Since Microsoft released their XNA framework and, quite surprisingly due to their former reputation, made X-Box development available to the wide public, our 'clone' will be built upon this and the .NET Framework. Thus, it will work on the X-Box 360 as well as on Windows.

Our solid team of Three consists of Me, Stephan and the eminent die-hard coder Flossy without whom we would surely perish and be sent down the abyss in utter madness.

Oh, and by the way. Do not buy the whiskey 'Redbreast'. It sucks. Go for that Lagavulin instead.
